Weekly review questions

  • What worked?
  • Where did the funnel stall?
  • One improvement next week?
  • Counts: quality applications, conversations, screens, interviews.

ATS resume checklist

  • Common headings and readable order.
  • Important truthful terms appear naturally.
  • Relevant bullets show capability and scope.
  • Dates, titles, credentials, and metrics are correct.
  • Follow the employer’s file and application instructions.

AI guardrails

  • Truth — Did AI invent anything? Remove it.
  • Voice — Would you naturally say this? Rewrite inflated language.
  • Evidence — Can you explain every claim under interview pressure?
  • Privacy — No confidential data in consumer tools. Follow employer AI rules.

Interview day

  • 24 hours before: time zone, format, link, interviewer names, materials.
  • Setup: charged devices, camera/mic, quiet, water, notepad.
  • Content: role priorities, evidence bank, stories, questions.
  • After: log questions, lessons, follow-up timing while details are fresh.
When AI makes it easier for everyone to produce more applications, credible evidence becomes more valuable. Do not try to outsmart hiring technology. Make a truthful case that survives technology and makes sense to people.
